PSS Nanjing was established in May 2023 as a joint venture between Nanjing Xiongong Investment Group and Lapmaster International Group, Inc. (USA). Dedicated to the R&D, manufacturing, and service of high-end precision surface treatment equipment and CNC profile grinding machines, the company is headquartered in Nanjing with factories located in Nanjing and Shenyang. It has built a nationwide manufacturing and delivery network, committed to providing efficient and reliable processing solutions for customers in China and the Asia-Pacific region.

As a key business segment of Lapmaster International Group in China, PSS Nanjing fully inherits the group’s technical expertise in precision grinding, lapping, polishing, and system integration. Since its founding in 1948, the group has leveraged Lapmaster’s decades of profound experience in precision grinding applications. Starting from 2014, it has successively acquired century-old German enterprises including Peter Wolters, Micron, ELB, aba, Reform, and Kehren. Continuing to focus on the R&D and manufacturing of precision grinding machines, Lapmaster Group provides customers with one-stop turnkey solutions and has established a global collaborative R&D and service network. Since entering the Chinese market in 2005, the group has accumulated over 30 local patent filings, jointly developed and localized the production of 17 categories of key precision equipment, served 277 Chinese customers, and delivered more than 1,700 machines. It has gained widespread market recognition and is advancing hand in hand with customers worldwide.

PSS Nanjing boasts a comprehensive independent R&D system and local manufacturing capabilities. With a Nanjing factory covering 8,700 square meters and a Shenyang factory spanning 5,100 square meters, the dual-base operation enables strong delivery capacity. The company serves leading customers in the industry such as CRRC and CSSC, actively promotes the domestic replacement and industrial upgrading of "industrial mother machines", and deeply deploys the industrial chains of new energy and high-end equipment manufacturing.

The company’s business focuses on two core directions: the semiconductor field and non-semiconductor industrial applications.

In the semiconductor segment, PSS Nanjing provides double-sided lapping & polishing equipment, single-sided thinning equipment, single-sided polishing equipment, multi-wire saws, etc., for third-generation semiconductor materials (such as silicon carbide (SiC) wafers). These products are widely used in 4-8 inch wafer processing, supporting the high flatness, high finish, and high efficiency requirements of semiconductor wafer manufacturing.

In the non-semiconductor segment, PSS Nanjing serves multiple key industries including aerospace, wind power, industrial mother machines, and industrial robots. Its product portfolio includes the M9 aero-engine blade creep feed grinding machine; high-precision composite vertical grinding machines provide efficient solutions for wind power gearbox manufacturers, large bearing manufacturers, and industrial mother machine customers; the company has technologically transformed Germany’s aba gantry linear guideway grinding machines and Micron RV reducer grinding machines, which are suitable for the processing of UP-grade high-precision linear guideways and the precision machining of core components such as RV reducers, supporting the domestic replacement of high-precision motion systems for industrial robots.
