The DDG580 is a high-precision and high-performance rotary through-feed grinding machine manufactured by LAPMASTER WOLTERS. It is capable of fulfilling the requirement of simultaneous grinding on both the upper and lower surfaces of various workpieces. Even under extremely harsh operating conditions, it can consistently maintain precision from the first workpiece to the last one. For processing different workpieces, the equipment can adopt a variety of distinct machining processes.
Boasting a compact footprint and ergonomic design, the machine facilitates easy access for personnel, which brings great convenience to after-sales service. Furthermore, it can be easily integrated into both existing and new production lines. Equipped with a Siemens operation panel, its display screen can show all vital machining parameters and post-processing measurement data. If necessary, the data can also be stored and transmitted to the internal network.
Additionally, the machine comes with a stable machine base and a vertical spindle design; the spindle grinding head moves on friction-resistant linear guideways, and its high-rigidity structure ensures stability during processing. It supports optional automatic loading and unloading devices such as tubular magazines and vibratory hoppers to achieve full automatic control. The feeding motion of the precision grinding disc is controlled by stepless servo speed regulation, enabling the conversion between rapid feeding and slow contact processing as well as optimal grinding compensation. Cooling fluid is supplied from the center of the spindle to cover all areas of the grinding zone and reduce spindle deformation caused by heat generation. It also allows optional use of CBN and diamond grinding wheels, together with a tiltable and compact dressing system for enhanced machining flexibility. A fully enclosed working area and safety interlock device are adopted to maximize operator safety.
