The LAPMASTER WOLTERS AC 1000 Double-Side Machining Equipment is designed for batch finishing of workpieces. Featuring a modular design, the AC 1000 can be used for precision grinding, lapping, and polishing processes.
Similar to all microLine© series equipment, the AC 1000 is built on proven core components, including a high-precision pneumatic pressure system, non-contact micro-measurement controller, powerful drive technology, and PC-assisted control. The software developed by LAPMASTER WOLTERS allows intuitive operation of the entire equipment through menus. The rotating console and frame design facilitate easy access to the equipment interior.
The equipment offers options for different planetary rotation devices, drive powers, and grinding wheel speeds to match the widest range of workpiece sizes. This ensures optimal equipment configuration for every application.
The AC 1000 can be equipped with a variety of well-recognized and time-proven additional functions, such as loading table gap control, alignment adjustment devices, and metered feed systems for grinding, lapping, or polishing consumables.
Other accessories, such as measurement sensors and post-processing measurement systems, can provide statistical process control data, ensuring safety when processing critical workpieces. "Data Care", a patented analysis tool, collects all controller data, making it the perfect platform for process evaluation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
The AC 1000 can process workpieces with a maximum diameter of 320mm (12.5984") and a maximum thickness of 100mm (3.9370").
