Lapmaster has developed a chamfering machine specifically for glass products, capable of processing one edge at a time.
Workpieces are conveyed from the feed inlet to the precision grinding disc surface, output from the discharge outlet after processing, and the above process is repeated. The equipment is equipped with a floating magnetic head to enable controllable workpiece feed rate. The floating magnetic head is fitted with a feed rate control device for adjustable feed speed, as well as a micrometer-adjustable handle for fine-tuning the chamfer size of workpieces.
The precision grinding disc operates at a rotational speed of approximately 500 rpm. With a 90-degree internal angle, the precision grinding disc can process one edge of workpieces at two positions into 45-degree chamfers.
Throughout the entire processing process, the precision grinding disc surface can be cleaned by supplying cooling fluid. The cooling fluid is delivered through an annular pipeline surrounding the disc surface.
The precision grinding disc drive system adopts an independent motor, a worm gear reducer, and a single-belt transmission.
Finished workpieces are output from the discharge outlet. Each time a workpiece is conveyed to the unloading table, the unloading table performs a measurement. The preset value is set based on the measured thickness value displayed on the operation screen (which should be the workpiece thickness).
The feed inlet is located on the right side of the equipment. This device loads one workpiece at a time.
Workpieces are fed into the coin-shaped groove feeding mechanism by gravity. This mechanism picks up one workpiece at a time and delivers it to the loading point.
