The CL2000 is a compact, multi-functional benchtop device, ideal for small workshops and laboratories. Designed based on the 2-way planetary concept, the Lapmaster Wolters double-side lapping/polishing machine is cost-effective and delivers highly precise, repeatable results. Excellent processing outcomes have been achieved for workpieces made of various materials, including glass, ceramics, crystals, and ferrous materials. The upper and lower plates of the equipment remain stationary; processing is performed solely by the movement of fixtures on the plate surfaces, driven by the rotation of internal and external gears.
Workpieces are lapped and polished on 5 fixtures (maximum workpiece outer diameter: 50mm, thickness: 10mm). Workpieces are placed in the compensation position inside the fixtures to ensure full coverage of the lapping plates.
The equipment features a heavy-duty steel base, on which the main drive components and drive motor are mounted.
It includes two independently controlled drive systems, each installed in fully sealed ball bearings to ensure flexible operation of the lapping plates.
